I'm Anne, a UI Designer with heart and soul. Born and raised in Thuringia, I moved to Hamburg in 2012 to join YOOtheme and shape Joomla and WordPress themes. With over 10 years of experience in UI and product design, I specialize in crafting themes, templates and digital products. I am currently looking for new challenges and a full-time position in Hamburg.

With a Bachelor's degree in Media Design and over ten years of experience in the design sector, I have honed my expertise in design principles, user experience, and proficiency with tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

My fascination for design manifested itself early on and began with the desire to change schools and obtain a high school diploma specializing in design and media technology.

During my time as a dual student, I worked on websites, native apps and user interfaces such as measurement systems, portals, and platforms. After graduating, I applied throughout Germany and then decided on the beautiful city of Hamburg to join YOOtheme GmbH.

At YOOtheme, I developed and implemented template concepts based on the scalable design system UIkit for Joomla and WordPress. I also worked in a team of designers and developers on an intuitive page builder that enables users to maximize the potential of WordPress or Joomla-based websites. It provides a timeless and simple UX/UI, allowing users to create and maintain websites quickly and easily. My empathetic and structured approach, along with my focus on current trends in web design and user experience, led to my role as Team Lead for designers.

In my free time, I love exploring new food spots, cycling through Hamburg, or enjoying the beautiful weather at the Außenalster on water or land. During the corona pandemic, I started renovating my rental apartment myself. Just like designing new templates or interfaces, I was driven by the desire to see how something new, beautiful and functional could be created by my own hands.
